A couple of weeks ago I posted that I was going to host a Pinterest Party at my house for a few friends from school. The ideas was to get together and work on some ideas we'd seen on Pinterest for our classrooms that we normally don't have time to work on due the busy school year. After I posted about the upcoming party a friend from high school, Holan, contacted me and asked me if I'd be willing to write a guest blog for her website Gadget Girl. Holan knows all things technology related and was wanting a teacher's perspective on using Pinterest. I was more than happy to oblige and today my guest blog was posted in 11 newspapers is 4 states! While I'm basking in my 15 minutes of fame you might like to go over to her website and read my blog entry and find out exactly what we worked on at my party. Here's the link:

For those of you from my hometown who would like to read it in what is the closest thing to our hometown newspaper you can go here:

The funny thing you should know when you read this post is I was told to keep it to 400-600 words. As most know, I write like I talk, which means I'm a bit wordy. When I finished I had a 1300 word post that I worked very hard to trim down. Eventually, I got it cut down to 746 words which was as far as I could go. What you read on Gadget Girl is that post. Luckily, Holan is nice and didn't make me try to par it down further.
